If the adverts at the bottom of the screen continue, i will opt for some other biblical reading source and delete ebible from my phone

If ads at bottom of screen are not removed by June 14 I will delete the application. They are very distracting and obtrusive.

Why do I now need to see banner ads when meditating the scriptures? Please stop these or have an opt out process. This has destroyed a great app. If not removed I will seek an alternative bible app! Very disappointing.

Now while I'm reading, studying, or teaching the words of life, I can be distracted by sales pitches for Kindle and who knows what else. This was a great app. Thanks for the memories.

If eBible is truly working for the Lord, He will provide your needs and bless you. Do not put ads on your app or you will be just like every other worldly app. Stay true to your mission and God will surely bless you. Through your daily bible verses, many people have been blessed because I post them on my Facebook page. Don't rob yourself of God's blessings, they are so much better than what the world has to offer....God's blessings are eternal....

Hack Suggestion: I have found that for versions I have purchased and downloaded, I can put my device (iPad) in airplane mode and I don't see the adds. It's very disappointing to have to come up with a work-around, and I hope e-bible is listening and will propose other means of revenue for the service. I truly detest the ads. ;)

What's even more disturbing now is the add for Quran tutoring! How obsurd for a child of Jesus to have to see this flash accross the bottom of my bible. The only true word breathed from the only one true Lord Jesus! Good bye ebible!

I agree with Eric's comment completely. Having an add that's flashing commercials is completely inappropriate and distracting from God's Word. God provides most ministries through donations. It's a huge step of faith, but God is faithful. There is nothing wrong with asking for donations in my opinion. Most Christians would be grateful to donate to the spreading of God's Word if they knew there was a need. I personally would feel uncomfortable telling others about eBible with ads.

        1. For a product that I've paid money for (I've purchased several of the translations), seeing adds is REALLY disappointing. 2. In Landscape mode on my iPad, the add blocks the bottom right of the words. 3. There's something just weird about opening up my bible and being hit with an ad....I like to read my bible to be more 'not of this world' and the commercialism feels inappropriate. 4. I LOVE to recommend eBible to people...but this will make it really hard for me to continue that. 5. I understand the need to increase revenue...have you considered subscription services? 6. I would much rather be hit with ads in the e-mail newsletters/touches than in the app itself. Thanks for listening!
